About Us

What is the Westfield Community Association?

The WCA is about developing a stronger sense of community in an area to the northwest of Yeovil, Somerset.

The WCA was formally launched in October 2007 and is run by a committee of residents.  It provides a forum for residents, government and other organisations to communicate, tackle local issues and take advantage of the many and varied opportunities that exist today.

The WCA was founded after a ‘Planning for Real’® consultation exercise carried out by the South Somerset District Council in 2005/06 as part of its drive to foster sustainability of local communities.
